The Great Big Revival 2026

Now in its third year, The Great Big Revival brought the York, PA community together to raise $105,000 for three local families facing difficult circumstances. Organized by Rebuilding Families Foundation, the annual fundraiser more than doubled the previous year’s total.

At High Off Life Marketing, we had the privilege of helping tell the stories behind that generosity through pre-event content, a pre-auction film, and a post-event recap video.

Helping People Connect Before the Event

A fundraiser starts long before the first bid.

Our pre-event content introduced the three families and shared the mission of Rebuilding Families Foundation. We wanted people to understand who the event would support and why their participation mattered.

For a community fundraiser, those personal connections give people a reason to show up. Video allows viewers to hear directly from the people involved and begin to understand the circumstances bringing everyone together.

Bringing the Families’ Stories Into the Room

The pre-auction video gave attendees a deeper look at each family’s story. Alongside those stories, members of the foundation’s team offered a reminder: the auction was an opportunity to give.

Donated items made the bidding possible, but helping local families was the purpose behind every purchase.

Our job was to bring those voices together into a film that felt personal and honest, while keeping that purpose clear. Watching attendees cry during the screening showed us how deeply the stories connected with the room.

We believe that connection helps encourage people to participate. The families’ experiences gave meaning to the bids that followed.

A powerful prayer on stage before the start of the auction.

A $600 Cup of Beer + a Room Ready to Give

One of The Great Big Revival’s annual traditions is opening the auction with a cup of beer. This year, it went for $600.

That opening item set the tone for an evening of generous bidding. Later, when a winning bidder donated his purchase back to be auctioned again, the room witnessed another example of someone putting the families first.

All money received through the event goes toward helping families in the community. From the people donating auction items to the attendees raising their hands, the fundraiser depends on a shared willingness to contribute.

The result was $105,000 raised and another significant year of growth for an event that has grown each year since it began.

Keeping the Story Going After the Event

Our post-event recap captured the gathering, the generosity, and the moments that made the day memorable.

For Rebuilding Families Foundation, that video offers a way to celebrate the community’s support and share the event with people who couldn’t attend. As the annual fundraiser continues to grow, it also gives future supporters a glimpse of what they can be part of.

We’re grateful to the foundation’s team for trusting High Off Life Marketing with all three stages of this year’s storytelling.
