🎥 When Purpose Meets Production: Capturing The Great Big Revival in York, PA

On a Saturday afternoon in York, Pennsylvania, something beautiful unfolded: a celebration of community, hope, and a shared mission to make safe, stable housing more accessible to those who need it most. The Great Big Revival wasn’t just a fundraiser; it was a movement. And we had the honor of helping bring it to life on screen.

Hosted by the passionate teams behind G2 Rentals & Panel Swap Electric, this year’s Great Big Revival raised over $40,000 — a huge leap from the $7,500 raised in 2024. That kind of growth doesn’t just happen. It takes vision, planning, heart, and a whole lot of hard work behind the scenes.

We saw it all firsthand.

In the weeks leading up to the event, our team at HOL Creative Co partnered with organizers to create a pre-auction video that set the tone for the event, highlighting the real people and real stories that make housing programs matter. From interviewing tenants living at the YMCA to hearing directly from YCDC and YMCA staff who work on the front lines every day, we knew this project was about more than visuals. It was about truth. Dignity. Possibility.

When the event day arrived, it was clear how much energy Gavin, Grant, Courtney, and the rest of the crew poured into making it unforgettable. We were there with cameras rolling to capture every moment. Smiles. Hugs. Live music. Laughter. Powerful reminders that progress can feel like a party.

The final event recap video was more than a highlight reel. It was a thank-you letter to York. To everyone who showed up, donated, volunteered, or simply believed in the mission. And through it all, we were reminded: storytelling, when done right, does more than document. It activates. It inspires. It helps people see what’s possible.
